Plum Fruit Leather

by Rachel Blackburn in

There are times I make a recipe exactly how it says to be done.  This was one of those times, and I have to say, I wouldn't change a thing!

I found this fruit leather recipe on Pinterest.  It is dee-lish.

It's super easy to make, too.  Roast 7.5 lbs halved and pitted plums cut side up at 400 for 15 minutes, puree in a blender, mix with 3/4 cup sugar, dry it out at 140 degrees for 8-10 hrs.  The drying part takes a long time, and I might do it in a dehydrator next time instead of using my oven, but overall it's a great recipe and my kids love it!  Tart and tangy with a little bit of sweetness.

My results weren't as pretty as the original post, but they sure taste good!
